Daily Prayer Request for Celebration Summer The prayer requests below for Celebration Summer 2008 were expanded from the prayer requests provided by Gail Dixon, one of the leaders of this meeting. Most of the prayer requests are not limited to that specific day, and were designed so that not only those directly participating but also those not participating can join together in prayer. We hope that more prayers will be poured out. Only Jesus!
July 13 - Watch over, protect, and
guide each person gathering in Wales from all over the world. In the first
day's meetings, let them see the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit, repent
with their whole hearts, and pray for the restoration of this land.
July 14 - Lord, we pray for those who are leading the praise times. Give them pure hearts, and guide them to lead true praise that will glorify the Lord. Use Ko Hyoung-Won and Revival Korea, Gareth Jones and the Wales team, Goeffry Burtle, Allen and Hawi, the KOSTU team, and Hugh Friday; guide them and may the Lord be glorified through perfect praise. July 15 - We pray for those serving as speakers. Use Rev. Moon Sung-Hoon, Rev. Lee Hoon-Jong, Karen Lowe, Gareth Jones, and Gail Dixon, and let the message that You want be declared. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, and guide them so that the things You want to reveal and a message to enlighten the generation will be declared biblically. July 16 - We pray for the time of evangelism. In the midst of worshipping, praying, and proclaiming the gospel on the streets, let many people respond, and in these meetings let the love of Jesus flow out. Let people thirsty for that love moisten their throats, and Lord, guide their spirits to enter the power of the gospel for eternal life. July 17 - Lord, remember the leadership of this meeting and guide them to respond sensitively to the Holy Spirit, and let all the programs proceed in the Lord's guidance. In the evening meetings, let nonbelievers come, and in the proclamation of the gospel, let many rend their hearts, repent, and turn to God. July 18 - This is the last day of the opening week. Let the people who are leaving today embrace what the Lord has spoken to their hearts, and as they share it back at home, let wonderful things happen and let them experience the power of the gospel being proclaimed. Lord, help them and guide them on their journey home. July 19 - This is a week of training through July 26. Lord, in the continuing meetings and while learning and teaching in response to hearing Your Word, let us taste new grace and experience amazing power in the Holy Spirit, and let us learn unity and harmony and love. Holy Spirit, lift up each person to watch and pray not to become distressed spiritually or physically. July 20 - We move forward with tears for Wales. Lord, let the teen suicides in Bridgend come to a stop. Let all the churches in the area begin to turn to you with needy hearts and repent, and return to the Word, and let spiritual warfare for these things rise up from place to place. July 21 - We pray for the volunteers. Give them each new strength every day, and guide and protect them to do their best to serve according to the gifts You have given them. In the grace of the Holy Spirit, let them experience the joy of serving, and in everything let God be completely glorified. July 22 - During this training period let the Word of truth be soundly taught, and in everything let Jesus Christ be glorified so that the teachings of the Bible will maintain their full authority. Let all power, wonders, and miracles be recognized as instruments to show forth Jesus Christ perfectly. July 23 - As we pray, let us hear what You truly want for Wales and the nations, and let us begin to obey Your Word, and guide us to recognize what parts of the Word we are missing and how Jesus wants to deal with these things. Let the leaders be filled with wisdom and the Holy Spirit, and let them gain strength. July 24 - We pray for Your anointing on all the meetings. Among all those gathered, let us hear, see, and weep together with needy hearts for God's plan of salvation for the nations, and guide us to rend our hearts and go forward in prayer so that we can see the open wells of Wales overflow. As we observe God's work of salvation, guide us to completely glorify the Lord and lift up Christ. July 25 - Lord, we pray for the people and groups in Korea who are praying. As we lift up all aspects of Celebration Summer in prayer, fill us with the same heart as that of the participants, and guide all our circumstances so that we can pray well and our prayer knees will not grow weak. July 26 - This is the first day of dividing into teams and being sent out. Let each team have boldness in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, let them reap fruits of their ministry everywhere they are sent, and wherever they tread, let the presence and work of the Holy Spirit arise. Fill each team's needs and be with them as they travel, so that in Your protection the Word of truth will be fully proclaimed. July 27 - Holy Spirit, prepare and touch the hearts of all the people that each team will meet in Wales, England, and Germany so that they can come to salvation. When they hear the Word of truth let each team see them respond deeply, repent, and turn to God. Guide them to experience deeply the Holy Spirit's help and leading every moment. July 28 - Let there be amazing unity in the team ministries. Under Your protection, let them see and hear new things that You have allowed, and as they move forward in prayer let them experience Your guidance. Fill them with the joy of being pilgrims with the Lord, going where You want them to go and staying where You want them to stay. July 29 - As various local churches and missions organizations cooperate, as they are united by the Holy Spirit in their ministries, let them be more successful in reaping fruit in the proclamation of the gospel. Fill the leaders of each team with the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, so that they can seek God's glory every moment and all the team members can cooperate and serve. July 30 - Lord, strengthen the members of each team. With the help of the Holy Spirit let them fulfill their planned ministries without becoming exhausted spiritually or physically. Lord, protect them. In the midst of difficulties and uncontrollable circumstances, let them enjoy Your protection through the Holy Spirit. July 31 - Rev. Lee Hoon-Jong of the London Korean Youth Church is cooperating in ministry. Let him go forth in the leading of the Holy Spirit, and fill him with grace and wisdom. Let us see wonderful unity in the Korean churches that are working together. In Christ, The PN4N team The Prayer Network for North Korean and the Nations http://pn4n.blogspot.com |
