Celebration Summer Update
Feb 2008
Dear Celebrators,
Greetings from Wales. Please read on to find the way we feel the Lord is leading us this summer. You will have heard recently from Dick re Bridgend, and will be hearing from Andy soon about a Celebration on the highest peak of South Wales, Pen-y-van, for Good Friday. A lot has been happening as we have sought the Lord for the way to continue to sing to the wells and see the wonderful breakout of his Spirit we all long for. Please do keep us up to date with the way that the Lord is leading you too. You will see some new testimonies and news on the Celebration website, www.celebrationforthenations.org and we would be happy to put some of your news on too. Celebration Summer: 13th July - 4th August 2008 Opening week: 13th -18th 2008 Many people asked me at the end of Celebration for the Nations last year, whether there would be another one this year. I said 'no', thinking about all that it had taken to bring the last one about. However the Lord had other ideas. Last year the Lord told us to gather the people and to sing, and that the water would break out. Many testified to great blessing in the Celebration and since, however, we know in our hearts that we have not seen the full extent of what the Lord is promising for this time. He has encouraged us: 'You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while, 'He who is coming will come and will not delay'. (Hebrews 10:36-37). From Korea, in particular, came a request for some teaching and training about how to continue to walk in the anointing that they had experienced during Celebration for the Nations. Several groups, including a multi-church group here in Llanelli, have continued to take worship onto the streets, and have begun to see fruit in terms of some salvations, healings etc. We feel that we are on the edge of something wonderful: 'the time has come, the Kingdom of God is near' (Mark 1:15). This is not the time to draw back, but to live by our faith! We need to continue to gather and sing to those ancient wells of Gods purpose for Wales, for Korea and for the nations. So... 13th July -4th August Celebration Summer; Worship, Prayer, Teaching, Evangelism. (100 places) 13th - 18th July Opening Week Celebration Summer, open to all. (400+ places) We have attached JPEGS of the information to this document, but if you have trouble opening it, and you would like to register, please go to www.celebrationforthenations.org Yours in prayer and action for the Kingdom to be manifest in our streets, our cities and our nations, Gail Dixon For the Celebration Team. |
